What’s included in a Supplies Package?
All of our supplies packages include the supplies you need to become a Notary Public today: a self-inking seal stamp, a Notary surety bond, and a soft-cover journal for recording your notarial acts.
Plus, every package contains a few recommended add-ons, like Errors and Omissions insurance, thumbprint pads, an embosser seal, and acknowledgment and jurat stamps.
Should I order my package now or should I wait to order until I get my commission certificate?
In short, it depends on your state and their Notary commissioning process.
If you’re commissioned in California, you can order anytime, because the surety bond is not required for your application, and we can’t release your bond until you receive your new expiration date from the state.
Alternatively, if you’re applying for a new or renewed Notary commission in Texas, you should purchase your supplies now, since the Texas Notary bond is attached and inseparable from the Texas Notary application.
