Early last week, I signed up for the free listing in YP. On Saturday, I got a phone call for GNW which I accepted. I'd say the free listing worked pretty well for the short time I've had it.

I would be hesitant about signing up for an $85./mo advert, unless I had a pretty hefty advertising budget which was already funded.

Hello, I am a notary in Europe, not in the US, but online advertising prices are pretty much the same.
You could invest much better those $85.00 a month than just a business listing on yellow pages.
The only advice I have and the best thing to do in my opinion is to invest money in your own site.
The great thing about your own site is that you don't have to pay a monthly fee like on yellow pages and you get almost free advertising (if you take out hosting and domain name costs).
