Fees
As of November 1, 2015
For notarial acts, the charge is $10.00 per signature collected, or oath administered (including the completion of the appropriate acknowledgment certificate or jurat certificate).
For certified copies of a Power of Attorney, the charge is $10.00.
For line item copies of the Journal of Notarial Acts, the charge is 30 cents per page. A written request must be received. No charge will apply if there is no related entry.
Travel fees start at $25.00 within American Canyon, Benicia, Napa and Vallejo, CA, then are $1.00 per mile (caluclated round trip from American Canyon to your community). The minimum travel charge is $25.00; maximum charge is $250.00.
Cancellation fees will be assessed as follows: Cancellations less than 4 hours before an appointment will be assessed a $100.00 fee; less than 24 hours be greater than 4 hours before an appointment will be assessed a $50.00. Appointments cancelled greater than 24 hours in advance will not be assed a cancellation fee.
