Hi All...
I've officially become a notary but I would like to watch someone first before I start doing it myself. Is there any way I can shadow someone to get some experience? If so what do I do or where do I find someone to shadow?
Thank you!
Welcome angelicar! First, it's always good to know what State you are in. Second, are you speaking of general notarizations
or loan signings?
It is difficult to find a mentor to help you along. Most don't want to train their competition. See if you can call a Notary in
your area to help you with certain notarization questions. Networking is a great way to help build your business.
This is a great Notary board to find out what Notaries Public are in your area. Search for Notaries in your zip code and
call some. There is always someone who is willing to give a helpful hand. As far as ride a longs for loan signings, many
Title companies and Lenders don't want someone else there.
Thank you for the response, I am just notarizing for the company I work for I'm not planning on making a business out of it. I'm located in San Francisco, CA in the financial district. I am only notarizing documents for real estate no loan signing. If there's anyone out there who wouldn't mind me shadowing I would appreciate the help, please feel free to reach out to me.
Thanks again!
I would like to know how does one start a notary business in California? I would like to hire notaries for different jobs under my company.
888 Neal,
What kind of company are you speaking of? Are you talking about becoming a Signing Service?
