Bruce Johnson, founder and head instructor for Notary.net left behind a legacy of being a difference-maker in the world. Starting in 1996, he started teaching notary seminars nationwide. He revolutionized the notary industry by taking potentially dry material and making it entertaining and accessible. Using corny jokes and anecdotes, he kept people engaged and eager to learn. His reputation helped build the foundations of Golden State Notary, Inc. and later Notary.net.

His sudden death on January 1, 2014 was a shock to everyone who knew him. He would always go above and beyond to help anyone who asked, regardless if they were former students or not. He did not discriminate. He loved all people and that was manifested in the way he lived his life, both personally and professionally.

I’m so sorry to read this. I am a new student here and I just absolutely love him to the point I was looking for friend request him in fb. I dipped my toes in two fancy on line study programs who I could not connect with.. I stumbled upon notary.net cause I am dead serious on learning the AZ Laws as my roots before I move on to other levels. I really really am connected to Bruce’s ways, corny jokes and al. He was one of the great ones and may be be forever remembered by his name. I will proudly say to whoever if I am honoured to become certified as Norary Public AZ, that it was Bruce Johnson’s class I took. Rip Sir Johnson.
